At the Hotel Indigo.
The hotel
High ceiling
The hotel has coffee in the lobby only until 10am, so we missed it. Steve found a little place that sells coffee and some rolls, but has no indoor seating. Paula got an expresso "malt" and I got two malts."
Then we went to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. It was quite extensive, couple of videos playing, etc. Also a small replica of a baseball field with bronze players.
For lunch we had world-famous Kansas City Barbecue. I got the "burnt ends" and now I have enough left over for dinner.
BBQ!
From Google: "Arthur Bryant's Barbecue, a historic Kansas City barbecue restaurant located at 1727 Brooklyn Ave, [is] famous for its slow-smoked meats, legendary vinegar-and-paprika-based sauce, and being a staple of KC's renowned barbecue scene, having been visited by presidents and famous writers."
I did not go to the game, of course, Instead, I went to the Afterword Tavern & Shelves, which has a small sideline of selling books (10% off during happy hour) and bought "The Universe" by Mike Matzdorff. By that time my phone was down to 20%, so I came back to the room and wrote the above.

It's a great evening for a baseball game. Paula says that in the first inning the Kansas City Royals got a homer and three totals runs. Paula posted this image in Chat:
