 Saturday.

Did not do much in the morning. Steve went to visit the aquarium, which was very close to the hotel. Then we all started on the 20-minute hike to the train station, leaving at the worst possible time, because after about five minutes the skies opened. Steve went off to get an Uber and spent some time arguing with the driver about where to pick us up. We could not have gotten any wetter. Then we caught the train.

I had a nicer photo of the Arch, but it appears to have disappeared. This one will have to do.

The Arch

Okay, I managed to convince Google to show me more.

The Arch

Sunday

Because, of course

Fortunately, the weather has been great. We all sat around a table in the hotel's courtyard, and I had my first experience with CVS Telehealth. At first it was miserable, because she (the health provider) somehow had me on twice, with the result that everything I said echoed back to me twice as loud. Once she got that worked out, it went fine. I gave my phone to Beck to figure out where to send the Paxlovid prescription.

We lost a bolt from Mom's TravelScoot, but Steve and Beck went off to Home Depot (very close) and got replacements. I have some more bolts on order from Amazon, the same but with the same button heads as the rest of the scooter.

I can't use Amazon on my phone, because of two-step verification requiring our home phone.

My Macbook is basically out of play. I thought I could charge it over USB, and I can--at a rate of somewhere around 2% an hour, if it's closed so the screen isn't on. Good to know before we go to New Zealand, anyway.

Mom, Steve and Isaac went and poked around Beck's house a bit (maybe yesterday), and today I did, too.

I would post some photos from today, but my Chromebook has decided it's shown me enough pictures, and it's gone on strike.

Okay, it's back.
